Transcripts

Hello All,

I just had a transcript scare (more like a meltdown). I was supposed to be verified on August 1st, but was put on hold due to incomplete transcripts. I went to UCSC and some of my classes were pass/fail. I neglected to send the official transcripts with narrative evals attached. I rushed the transcripts and I am verified as of yesterday. But I thought some people might have similar situations...

Secondaries are rolling in, so back to essay writing!

I am in AMCAS verification limbo. Great place to be if you like the unknown. I am working on the secondaries I have received and as you probably all already know, it is really important to turn them around as fast as possible.

Hello Everyone,

I am Aurora Richard the new director, Sorry for being so silent... I am taking my MCATs on May 31st. To all of you who are taking it soon, best of luck!

This is just a reminder that AMCAS opens tomorrow--get your paperwork in early!

Also, if you are not applying this year and are still looking for an MCAT prep class, I highly recommend the Berkeley Review. I taught for the Princeton Review and their program is good as well, but the Berkeley Review teachers seem to have much more expertise in the subjects they teach.

2008 "How I Got Into Med School" Info Session - Sat, 3/29

Hello, members!

We're extremely excited to announce this year's "How I Got Into Med School" Info Session with guest speakers, Gabrielle Einstein, Christopher Lening, and Sara Hyoun! All three non-trads are active club members as well as UCLA/UCLA Extension pre-meds.

To date, Gabrielle Einstein has been accepted to Robert Wood Johnson in NJ, Christopher Lening has been accepted to Georgetown, and Sara Hyoun has been accepted to George Washington and Tulane.

"How I Got Into Med School" 2008 Info Session

What a rollercoaster ride the application process is! Thankfully, some of us are almost through it. For those of you that will be applying this coming cycle, come on out to this year's "How I Got Into Med School" info session. We will hold one in March and one in May.
